The AKB20 is an auxiliary USB device compliant with standards such as ADA and DDA. It realizes menu navigation functions through voice - based content descriptions.

 

Users with visual impairments, reading disabilities, or fine - motor - function impairments can operate menu or directory systems that are typically presented on visual displays or touchscreens by using recorded or synthesized voices. The screen content is announced and briefly explained in voice form via headphones or communication devices.

 

For visually - impaired users, the product's usability is enhanced by the differential designed menu selection keys. Additionally, the device is equipped with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack, enabling users to connect headphones to the module and receive voice guidance for device operation.

 

The device has a flexible installation method. It can be embedded on the surfaces of host terminal enclosures, walls, service desks, etc. This product is especially suitable for scenarios where compliance with current accessibility regulations is required.

 

Through the accompanying software toolkit, users can customize the default backlight color, wake - up response mechanism, and support key value modification as well as remote upgrade. The device is connected to the host via a single USB cable.
